I needed to know you, I had seen you only a handful of times but part of me needed to know you, I needed to know why you were so dedicated So in love with the Saviour So dark yet so elegant I was terrified by your beauty Your hair only excited me Your nails drew me in Your style dominated mine A mystery I needed to know I needed to know the story that made you What had brought you several times a week to a building A building where the spirit was so strong In a world you didn’t seem to be apart of A light that was shining even when life didn’t have any shine A beauty that neither I nor this world had ever beheld before I felt drawn to you I needed to know you And once I knew you, I knew love You became my sunshine My sunshine that has been taken away
