Mornings are so hard for me, though I do like the idea of Morning Pages a la Julia Cameron, and often sit in my recliner in the bedroom when I awaken to write a couple of pages and dreams before getting up for coffee, etc. I'd love to be a night owl, but I'm afraid if I allowed myself to stay up as long as I want, I'd not awaken until after noon. Things are so different now that Liberty is all grown up! When he was little, I'd write after supper, when he was with Andrew. I'm glad you've found a way to put it first, and then let it flow with your day.
