I didn't know about this practice, but it's brilliant! Like little snapshots that bring alive again the moment it was taken. I'm tempted to buy one of those 5 year diaries in order to hold the 3 sentences daily. (Says the woman who already owns enough paper and notebooks to open up a fully stocked shop!)

Your poetry fragments are especially poignant.

I really love your logo of the hand holding the sunrise.

Oh the temptation to start this practice is a brand new journal is quite strong for me too! Thank you for all your support and your sweet presence friend.

This is such a divine practice...thank you for sharing...I love your typed words, they speak more than the one sentence that is there.

Your words invite an honesty to rise. In just one sentence what does the heart and soul wish to say, in one sentence what are the feelings, words, moments that wish to be heard/felt/known...

I wrote this sentence after I read your piece...

"The cold is there in my body despite the sun shining its rays through the window; perhaps for now I will surrender to the warmth of a favourite jumper, just so I can feel cosy, and held and somewhat secure"

Thank you 💖

Thank you for receiving this so beautifully! I love this practice because it does just that-invites things ro rise to the surface, to be known and felt. I love the little line you wrote, thank you so much for sharing that.

Raine, what a wonderful idea! These pieces are beautiful and really pull you back into the present moment when reading. I'm certainly going to start practicing this ✨🤍

Thank you! It's one of my favorite little writing practices, and even though it's so simple it offers up so much!
